AQUATOP to Display New Line of Aquatic Plants
The company will showcase their complete line of realistic fabric and plastic aquarium plants for both fresh and salt water.
LAS VEGAS NV, September 11, 2012 – AQUATOP Aquatic Supplies, Inc., a Southern California-based manufacturer of aquarium and pond supplies, will unveil its full line of synthetic aquatic plants at the 2012 Super Zoo (booth #1357). The first in their décor series which will eventually include aquarium substrate, driftwood from around the world and themed decorations, the realistic plants are made of non-toxic nylon and plastics and will add color and depth to any aquarium setup.
“It’s hard to tell that these plants are not real,” notes Alexander Phelps, Product Manager. “Just like live plants, they add brilliant colors and move gently with the flow of the water. But of course fabric plants have a lot of advantages over live species.”
In addition to easy care and maintenance, AQUATOP’s aquarium plants give fish and other creatures a safe place to hide, reducing stress. The line includes over 100 renditions of actual species including brilliant green Anubias and Java Fern growing off of driftwood, easy-to-place Hair Grass and Chain Swords, as well as all-time hobbyist favorite, the Pennywort. Each plant uses a different array of colors and heights so aquarists can tailor their foreground, mid-ground and background. The plants are also specially weighted and will not float up as some inferior bands are apt to do.
AQUATOP’s Fabric and Plastic Aquarium plants will be available in the fall. For more information, go to www.aquatop.com or call 888 915-2782.
