According to Deadline New York, Andrew Stanton will be back to direct the sequel to Finding Nemo, one of Pixar’s most successful franchises. In the United States, Finding Nemo remains the highest-selling DVD of all time, with over 20 million copies sold. Stanton’s last work was John Carter, his first foray into live action. Though it was far from a financial success, Disney appears to have no qualms with delivering the reins of the Nemo films back to Stanton, who received an Oscar for the original. A 3D version of Nemo will also be debuting in cinemas in September.
